Teeth

  • daughter: Mommy,how do old people pull their teeth out of their mouths?
  • me: Not all older people can do that. Sometimes due to the condition of their teeth and gums the dentist has to pull their teeth out and give them fake teeth called dentures so they can still eat and chew their food. They can pull these out.
  • daughter: That's why we have to take care of our teeth and brush them.
  • me: Yes, and brush them WELL...
  • daughter: (disappears from room before I can finish and starts to brush her teeth AGAIN for the 2ND time this morning)
  • me: :)
